Jaishankar on China challenge, Quad importance, India's new diplomatic priorities

External affairs minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar talked about the China challenge and the importance of Quad. Jaishankar talked about the deployment of troops at LAC amid border standoff. “There are discussions going on with integrated teams on both sides,” Jaishankar said. We have made clear, the state of the relationship at the end of the day will reflect the state of the border,” Jaishankar added. Jaishankar said it is important for India as a Quad participant to be very clear that Quad is for something, it is not against somebody. The foreign minister spoke at the 19th edition of the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit.
