Omar on 'jilted love' behind Red Fort blast-linked terror cell's capture, no intel for CM | HTLS 2025

At HTLS 2025, J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah reacted to reports that a case of “jilted love” triggered the busting of the Red Fort blast-linked terror module. He said the situation reflects deeper security lapses and revealed that he received no advance intel about the suspects. Omar stressed that terror incidents shouldn’t be trivialized and called for stronger, more transparent intelligence coordination to protect both civilians and the region.
