When can we expect Covid vaccine for children?: SII’s Adar Poonawalla answers

Serum Institute of India CEO Adar Poonawalla spoke at the 18th edition of the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit. He said that children may have to wait a bit longer for a Covid vaccine as they the ones in works at the moment are recommended for people above 18 years of age. Poonawalla also said that this disease is less of a nuisance for children but they can still be carriers and hence they want to vaccinate the elderly and others first.
