Malinga a legend: Lanka skipper hails bowler’s performance against England

Sri Lanka captain Dimuth Karunaratne called bowler Lasith Malinga a legend after the latter's match-winning performance against England. Malinga picked up 4 wickets, and along with Dhananjaya de Silva's 3-wicket haul, ensured that the hosts couldn't reach the modest 232-run target set by the Lankans. Karunaratne also praised de Silva's performance. The captain also hailed Malinga for setting an example for the rest of the team, citing the fact that the bowler had to fly home in the middle of the tournament after his mother-in-law passed away.
