‘Whatever dog we are...’: Williamson on Kiwis being called ‘underdogs’ in WC
Updated on Feb 24, 2020 09:43 pm IST
New Zealand captain Kane Williamson addressed a press conference a day before his team plays in the Cricket World Cup final. His witty responses left journalists in the room laughing. On being asked about the 'underdogs' tag placed on the team, he said that it has been regularly seen in the tournament that any team has the capability to beat any other, regardless of the 'breed of dog'. This is New Zealand's second consecutive World Cup final. The team lost to co-hosts Australia in 2015.
