World Cup dampener: Sri Lanka vs Pakistan match abandoned due to rain

Rain played spoilsport in the Sri Lanka versus Pakistan match at the Cricket World Cup. The match had to be abandoned after heavy rain left the field too wet for sufficient play. Umpires Ian Gould and Nigel Llong inspected the ground after the rain relented, but the conditions weren't favourable. Both the teams got one point each.
