New Zealand beat Sri Lanka by 10 wickets in their first game of the tournament. Matt Henry and Lockie Ferguson snatched three wickets each and contributed to the Lankans tumbling out by the 29th over for 136. Then Martin Guptill and Colin Munro powered the Kiwis to an easy win with unbeatable half-centuries. New Zealand successfully chased the target in just 16.1 overs.
