Gaza's health ministry confirmed that the enclave's second-largest hospital, Nasser Hospital, is ‘completely out of service’. Nasser Hospital's spokesperson, Ashraf al-Qudra, told Reuters that "there are only four medical staffers currently caring for patients." Meanwhile, the chief of the World Health Organisation, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, said that Nasser Hospital ceased functioning due to the Israeli army’s weeklong siege followed by the ongoing raid. He also said that the WHO team was not permitted to enter the hospital, and there were about 200 patients in the hospital, and at least 20 of them needed urgent treatment.
