A Mumbai court sent Rhea Chakraborty's brother Showik, and Sushant Singh Rajput's house manager Samuel Miranda to custody of Narcotics Control Bureau till September 9, 2020. The duo were arrested on September 4 on drugs-related charges under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. Alleged drug peddler Kaizan Ebrahim was sent to judicial custody till September 19. The allegations came to light during an investigation into actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death. The Central Bureau of Investigation is probing the circumstances under which the actor was found dead at his Mumbai house on June 14, 2020. His girlfriend Rhea is the main accused in the case. She has been accused of abetting Sushant's suicide and siphoning off his assets by the late actor's father.
