Watch: 9-year-old girl undergoes brain surgery while playing piano

A 9-year-old girl plays piano during brain surgery in Gwalior. Doctors removed a tumor from the girl's brain as she played the piano. The surgery was performed at Birla hospital in Gwalior. Doctors said the patient suffered epileptic seizures due to the tumor. “I had a tumor in the brain but it is fine now. I kept playing the piano for 5-6 hours,” Saumya said. BIMR hospital's Dr Abhishek Chauhan said, “This was a challenging case but we've handled cases like this. This is the 7th such operation in the last one year, we were confident. She used to suffer from epilepsy, the tumor's size was increasing.”
