Agriculture Minister accuses Congress of shedding crocodile tears on farmers’ issue

Union Agriculture & Farmers Welfare Minister Radha Mohan Singh on Thursday said that the Cabinet has approved Rs 15,053 crore procurement policy. He also accused Congress of shedding crocodile tears on the farmers' issue. “Cabinet has sanctioned Rs 15,053 crore procurement policy. When we came to power the budge allocated for farmers was of Rs 300 crore but now we have raised it to Rs 15,053 crore. So those who are shedding crocodile tears should answer now,” he said.
