Former PM Deve Gowda, Rajinikanth pay tribute to actor-politician Ambareesh

Former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy and actor Rajinikanth paid last respects to former Union Minister Ambareesh at Kanteerava stadium. Ambareesh passed away in Bengaluru, according to official sources and Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce. He was 66. The former union minister was rushed to a private hospital after he complained of breathing-related issue, sources said. Ambareesh has acted in over 200 films and served as the Karnataka minister of housing in the Siddaramaiah-led cabinet.
