At least 302 die of swine flu in Maharashtra

As many as 302 deaths have been reported in Maharashtra due to swine flu this year. Around 325 patients are still admitted in hospitals across the state. In 2017 there were 778 reported deaths in the state. 'Between 1 January and 30 October, there have been 2375 reported cases of swine flu in Maharashtra. Of those, 1745 people have been treated and gone home. 325 people are still in the hospital and getting treated, of whom 23 people are critical and on the ventilator. 301 people have died till now,” said Dr Pradip Awate, the state surveillance officer, Maharashtra
