BJP’s Ram Madhav blames Congress, NC for separatism, terror in J&K
Updated on Jun 29, 2019 06:18 pm IST
Bharatiya Janata Party leader Ram Madhav accused the Congress and the National Conference of creating a situation in the state of Jammu and Kashmir which gave birth to separatism and terrorism. The fresh attack came a day after Union Home Minister Amit Shah targeted the Congress while tabling a resolution in Lok Sabha to extend President's rule in J&K by another six months, and also a bill to extend quota to people living near the International Border in the state. Shah had blamed India's first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, for the fact that one-third of Jammu and Kashmir is under Pakistani occupation. He had also said that Congress' actions in the state had caused alienation.
