Body of Cafe Coffee Day owner VG Siddhartha found near Mangaluru river

The body of Cafe Coffee Day (CCD) founder VG Siddhartha was found from the banks of Netravathi River, two days after the coffee baron went missing. The 60-year-old went missing from the road bridge between Ullal and Mangaluru over the bridge. It was after Siddhartha's driver alerted the family, they informed the authorities. Earlier, Siddhartha wrote a letter to employees and board of directors of CCD. He had apologised for failing to create 'a right profitable business model'. Siddhartha was also the son-in-law of ex-union minister SM Krishna.
