Updated on Sept 26, 2020 10:48 pm IST

The Narcotics Control Bureau made a fresh arrest in the ever-expanding Bollywood drugs case. Kshitij Ravi Prasad, a former employee of a company linked to film-maker Karan Johar, was arrested by the drugs agency a day after he was questioned. His name reportedly cropped up during the questioning of Powai hotelier Ankush Arneja. The latter was arrested on September 13 for allegedly peddling drugs. Meanwhile, Karan Johar distanced himself from Prasad via an Instagram post. He said that he didn't know Prasad personally. In 2019, the latter was employed by Dharmatic Entertainment, a sister concern of Dharma Productions, as an executive producer on a contract basis. However, the project that he had been engaged for didn't materialise. Johar said that he, or Dharma Productions, can't be held responsible for what people do in their personal lives.
