Ladakh Buddhist Association (LBA) organised a 'thanksgiving' after scrapping of Article 370. Organised in Leh, the 'thanksgiving' was to celebrate Ladakh becoming a Union Territory. People from different villages participated in the celebration. Politicos, religious leaders, monks and sarpanchs also attended the function. Under Article 370, Jammu and Kashmir had separate laws and provisions. J&K was bifurcated into 2 Union Territories — Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
