Chhattisgarh: Man marries 2 women on same day, trio to stay together | Watch

A man married two women on the same day in Chhattisgarh's Bastar district. A marriage, which is uncommon for the society, was consensual for the newlyweds. Both the women - Sundari Kashyap and Haseena Baghel - used to like Chandu Maurya, the groom. Maurya, 24, married the women at the same ceremony in Bastar's Tikralohnga village. The marriage ceremony, which took place on January 5, was attended by about 500 people. While Sundari is 21, Haseena is 20 and both have passed their 12th Standard examinations. Family of Haseena came to attend the marriage but Sundari's family skipped the function. Wedding video and invitation card of the function has gone viral on social media.
