Cooking gas LPG costlier: Watch public reaction to Rs 19/cylinder hike

Some disappointment awaited consumers as Liquefied Petroleum Gas prices increased on new year's day. Non-subsidised LPG became dearer by Rs 19 per cylinder. This is the fifth straight monthly hike in non-subsidised LPG prices. The hike was effected due to an increase in international prices. Now, a 14.2 kg cylinder of non-subsidised LPG costs Rs 714 in Delhi, Rs 747 in Kolkata, Rs 684 in Mumbai, and Rs 734 in Chennai.
