‘Cyclone in time of Covid’: NDRF chief on Amphan preparation amid pandemic

SN Pradhan, Director General of National Disaster Response Force briefed the media about preparation for the landfall of cyclone Amphan, which is expected to happen tomorrow. Pradhan said that the force is facing two challenges, the cyclone, and the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. Preparations for impact of the cyclone are being made keeping issues such as social distancing in mind. When Amphan makes landfall, it is likely to be in the category of extremely severe cyclonic storm, and expected to cause most damage in Odisha and West Bengal. Watch the full video for more.
