Deepotsav in Ayodhya: Over 5 lakh earthen lamps lit on the banks of Saryu

Grand deepotsav celebrations are now underway in the holy city of Ayodhya. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was also present at the Ram Ki Paidi to light lamps. The temple-town has been lit with 5.51 lakh diyas - earthen lamps - which add glitter to the celebrations. 11 tableaux, based on chapters of Ramcharitmanas, and a 'darbar' of Ram Lalla have also been depicted. The BJP government in Uttar Pradesh started Deepotsav celebration in Ayodhya after Yogi Adityanath became the chief minister in March 2017. Watch the full video for all the details.
