Delhi: Anti-CAA protestors marching from Jamia to Parliament stopped by cops

Protestors opposing the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019, and a proposed National Register of Citizens, attempted to march to Parliament on Monday. The march was planned from Jamia university to the Parliament building. Demonstrators were seen carrying the tricolour, posters, and shouting slogans. However, they were stopped by Delhi police from reaching Parliament. The force said that the protestors had not sought permission for the protest.
