Delhi gangrape convicts to hang: Victim’s parents react to court decision

Parents of the victim who was gangraped in Delhi on December 16, 2012, welcomed the issuance of a death warrant for the convicts. A Delhi court ordered the execution of four rapists on January 22, 2020 at 7 am. The victim's mother said that the development was justice for the entire country. The father said that the hanging might instil fear in the minds of people who commit such crimes. Meanwhile, the lawyer of the convicts has announced that he will file a curative petition in the Supreme Court.
