Delhi: ‘Pakistan Murdabad’ slogans during protest on Nankana Sahib incident
Updated on Mar 14, 2020 05:03 pm IST
A protest was staged near the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi. The protest was organised by right-wing organisations like Bajrang Dal and Durga Vahini. The demonstration was organised over the Nankana Sahib Gurudwara incident. Days earlier, a mob had surrounded the historic Sikh place of worship and threatened to occupy it. The mob was reportedly led by the family of a man accused of forcibly converting a Sikh girl. Subsequently, a Sikh man had been murdered in Pakistan's Peshawar. The Indian government had condemned both incidents.
