‘Don’t misuse money bills, consult Rajya Sabha more’: Manmohan Singh

Speaking on the occasion of the 250th session of the Rajya Sabha, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh urged the executive to not bypass the upper house on important bills. Manmohan Singh said that the executive has a tendency to misuse the money bill to evade the Rajya Sabha. He also added that matters of such importance like the bifurcation of a state should not be kept away from the Rajya Sabha.
