‘Economic slowdown is not so bad in India & China’: Nirmala Sitharaman

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has spoken about the key takeaways from the annual IMF and World Bank meetings. Sitharaman said that discussions were largely centred around the reasons behind the global slowdown. She also said that in India and China the slowdown is not as bad as in other parts of the world. She added that in the next year, global growth will largely be driven by growth in India and China. Sitharaman is in Washington to attend the annual meetings of the IMF and the World bank.
