‘Fearless Run’: Over 200 women reclaim Delhi streets at midnight

The Delhi Police organised 'Fearless Run' at midnight at Connaught Place inner circle in New Delhi. The 5-km run was organised as a symbol of empowerment of women in national capital. It aimed at spreading message that women can roam around the city irrespective of time without any fear. Around 200 women and women police personnel participated in the run. The run was flagged off by Joint Commissioner of Police Ajay Chaudhary. On the occasion, Joint Commissioner of Police Ajay Chaudhary said that Delhi Police is committed towards women safety. Delhi Police also popularised Himmat Plus women safety app during the event.
