A group of youngsters offered free hugs to people outside a metro station in Kolkata on May 2. This was their way of protesting against an alleged attack on a couple inside the metro train recently. The couple was allegedly assaulted by co-passengers on April 30 for public display of affection. The incident spurred protests across the city over the last two days against moral policing. Kolkata Metro said it was looking into the incident.
