Not taking Gopal Kanda’s support: BJP’s clarification before meeting Governor

Gopal Kanda, the controversial Haryana Lokhit Party (HLP) legislator, will not be a part of the Haryana government after all. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has said it will form an alliance with Dushyant Chautala's Jannayak Janata Party (JJP), which has 10 MLAs, to form a government in Haryana. BJP also clarified that no support from Kanda will be taken. Union Law and Justice Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, before meeting the Governor in Chandigarh, had said there will be no support taken from Kanda to form government in Haryana. A similar remark was made by Haryana Sports Minister Anil Vij where he had also claridied that Gopal Kanda will not be included in the government.
