‘Govt thought farmers won’t be able to resist’: Rahul’s jibe over farm laws

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has launched a fresh attack on the Modi government over the recently passed farm laws. Speaking to the media in his Lok Sabha constituency of Wayanad, Rahul Gandhi said that there is an attempt to break the back of agriculture in India. Rahul Gandhi alleged that the Modi government wants to open up the path to the agriculture sector for some big businesses. Rahul added that the real tragedy is that such a step is being taken at the time of a pandemic as the government feels they will not be able to put up a resistance at such a time.
