At least two people were killed and one was injured after two houses collapsed in Gujarat. Police said the incident occurred following a powerful explosion in Gandhinagar's Kalol. Relief and rescue operations started soon after the mishap took place. As per the preliminary probe, cooking gas leaked from a pipeline at a society in Panchvati. This gas which accumulated in one of the houses caused the explosion around 7:30 am. Earlier, it was reported that the pipeline belongs to Oil and Natural Gas Corporation. However, ONGC has cleared that the gas pipeline does not belong to them.
