Polling for the second and final phase of Gujarat assembly elections concluded on December 14, 2017. This phase included 93 seats across 14 districts of the state. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP president Amit Shah, and Union minister Arun Jaitley were among the heavyweights who cast their votes. The Congress accused PM Modi of violating the Model Code of Conduct by taking out a 'roadshow' after he voted. The Opposition also hit out at the Election Commission for not taking any action against the PM.
