Gurukul students allege sodomy by seniors, staffers in Haryana

Six students of a gurukul have alleged that they had been sodomised by their senior students and staffers. The incident took place in Ladhot village of Haryana's Rohtak. The matter came to light on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan which is an annual festival. Parents of some students visited the gurukul to meet their children on the occasion of the festival and they got to know about the incident.

The police have registered a case and investigation is underway. The SHO said, “Some children have alleged that the senior students have sodomized them. The victims have also complained to the warden in the past but no action was taken. We have registered the case as per POCSO Act and IPC.”
