Indian Air Force launches mobile game, features Wg Cdr Abhinandan Varthaman

The Indian Air Force has released its official mobile game called 'Indian Air Force: A cut above'. IAF chief Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa launched the game at an event in New Delhi. The game features a character resembling Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman. The IAF officer is credited with shooting down a Pakistani fighter jet a day after the IAF carried out an air strike at Balakot. He was eventually captured by the Pakistanis after his jet crashed, but was repatriated days later. The IAF chief also appealed to youngsters to join the force.
