Jharkhand CM-to-be Hemant Soren invites Sonia, Rahul Gandhi to swearing-in

Jharkhand Chief Minister-designate Hemant Soren met Congress leaders Sonia and Rahul Gandhi in Delhi on December 25, 2019. Soren invited the two to his oath-taking ceremony which is scheduled to take place on December 29, 2019. Soren's Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, in alliance with the Indian National Congress and the Rashtriya Janata Dal, swept the recent Assembly elections in Jharkhand. Soren was projected as the CM face of the alliance.
