Kanpur shootout: 3 cops suspected of ‘leaking info’ to Vikas Dubey suspended

Authorities in Uttar Pradesh have suspended three more cops in Kanpur shootout case over allegations that they were in regular contact with Vikas Dubey. Police said the role of these cops has been confirmed in in-house probe. Before this, Chaubeypur's station officer (SO) Vinay Tiwari was suspended and shifted to Lucknow after being questioned for nine hours. Vikas Dubey, the main accused in Kanpur shootout case, is at large. The deadly shootout left eight police personnel dead. Earlier, police arrested Daya Shankar Agnihotri, an aide of Dubey. 48-year-old Dubey has 60 murder and kidnapping cases among others.
