Karnataka crisis | Looks like BJP came to power to end democracy: Cong MP

As the Congress-Janata Dal (Secular) government in Karnataka stares at possible collapse after the resignation of 16 MLAs, Congress MP Ghulam Nabi Azad targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party. The Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha accused the BJP-led Central government of trying to 'finish democracy, secularism and opposition'. The Congress and JD(S) have been accusing the BJP of trying to engineer defections and topple the government in the state.
