Lalu Prasad’s son Tej Pratap Yadav getting married to Aishwarya Rai today
The elder son of Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad is getting married on May 12. Tej Pratap Yadav is tying the knot with Aishwarya Rai, the daughter of senior RJD leader Chandrika Rai and grand daughter of former Bihar CM DP Rai. Over 7,000 guests including VIPs, are expected to attend the wedding in state capital Patna. A party MLA, Saroj Yadav, had announced he will attend “Tej Pratap's baraat (wedding procession) with my herd of horses and mares to make it more attractive.” More than 100 cooks from Bihar, UP and Punjab will prepare Bihar's own litti-chokha, Amritsari kulcha and Agra's paranthas among other dishes. While the groom has opted for a simple kurta-pyjama designed by Bihar-born designer MA Rahman, Chandrika's wedding lehenga is also expected to be not too gaudy and in light shades.
