A protest was staged outside the Pakistan High Commission in London on Monday. Human rights activists from Pakistan, and members of the Indian community conducted a demonstration to highlight the plight of a 15-year-old Hindu girl, Mehak Kumari, in Pakistan. Kumari was allegedly abducted on January 15, forced to embrace Islam, and then married to her abductor. Days after the incident, the Government of India had also summoned a Pakistani diplomat over the issue. India had lodged a strong protest over abduction of minor Hindu girls in Pakistan.
