Massive fire breaks out in Guwahati, 10 houses, 3 shops gutted in fire

Massive fire broke out at Ulubari areas in the city in front of the Assam Police headquarter in Guwahati today. Nearly 3 shops and 10 houses were gutted in the fire. Several fire tenders rushed to the spot to conduct firefighting operations. However, no casualties have been reported. The fire is reportedly said to have broke out due to blasts from three cylinders according to nearby locals. This resulted in an aggressive spread of the fire in the area reducing properties worth lakhs into ashes.
