Mercury dips to -13 degrees in Leh, cold wave intensifies across North India

Cold wave intensified across several areas in Northern India. Temperature dipped to -13 degrees in Leh on Dec 03. Locals have been spotted using bonfires to keep themselves warm in the city. Intense cold conditions also prevailed in Jammu. Temperature dipped to 11 degrees in Jammu on Dec 03. In Lahaul-Spiti, water bodies remain frozen due to continuous snowfall. It continued to be the coldest place in HP with -23 degree as of Dec 03.
