Modi government wanted to sign RCEP secretly: Congress’ PL Punia

Congress has launched a fresh attack on the Modi government and accused it of wanting to sign the RCEP secretly. Congress leader PL Punia said that it was the pressure from the opposition that made the Prime Minister Modi retreat. He added that China was not part of the negotiations when UPA was contemplating joining the RCEP. India refused to be a part of RCEP citing unresolved core issues.
