‘Journalism getting eroded’: Venkaiah Naidu on National Press Day

India's Vice President Venkaiah Naidu spoke on the situation of journalism in the country. The vice president was speaking on the occasion of National Press Day during an event at Press Council of India. Naidu said the core values of journalism in India are getting eroded. The Vice President also urged journalists to exercise caution in the time of sensationalism and asked the journalists to introspect. “Sensationalism has become order of the day, sensational news means senseless news,” he said.
