‘No final decision yet on sacking of 25,000 home guards’: Chetan Chauhan
Updated on Mar 04, 2020 02:52 am IST
A day after the Uttar Pradesh police terminated the services of 25,000 home guards in the state, Home Guard Minister Chetan Chauhan clarified that no official letter had been received from the Home Department. Chetan Chauhan added that due to budget constraints, the number of work days will be less but the service of home guards won't be terminated. This comes as Mayawati launched a scathing attack on the Yogi Adityanath government over the decision.
