Odisha woman kicks grandson as he writhes in pain, detained by police

A woman was detained by police after she was seen kicking her grandson in a video that went viral on social media. The woman, Brundabati Chand, can be seen kicking her grandson and later stands on his feet while the child writhes in pain. The child was rescued by the Child Welfare Committee. The incident was reported from Balasore district from Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
