Pakistan minister contradicts country’s stand, admits J&K is ‘Indian state’

Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi contradicted his country's stand on Jammu and Kashmir. He was speaking on the sidelines of the UN Human Rights Council session in Geneva. Qureshi referred to Jammu and Kashmir as an 'Indian state'. This is contrary to Pakistan's stated position of J&K being disputed territory and flies in the Imran Khan government's attempts to internationalise the J&K issue. Islamabad has failed to secure international support on the issue of Article 370 dilution so far.
