PM Modi counters critics of $5 trillion economy aim with poetry in Varanasi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a membership drive of Bharatiya Janata Party from his constituency, Varanasi. Addressing the gathering a day after Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the first Budget of Modi government's second term, the Prime Minister took on opponents who have criticised his $5 trillion economy aim. He recited a poetry and also used a metaphor of a cake to say that a larger economy would mean greater prosperity of Indians.
