‘Today India lost a great son’, Rahul Gandhi tweets on Vajpayee’s death

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress president Rahul Gandhi were among a string of politicians who took to Twitter to grieve the death of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Modi said that Vajpayee's passing away is a personal and irreplaceable loss for him. Rahul said that India has lost a great son. Vajpayee, the first non-Congress leader to serve a full term in power, died on Thursday at the All India Institute of Medical Science where he had been undergoing treatment for a kidney ailment since June. He was 93.
