Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday urged BJP workers to spread awareness on new farm bills. He slammed opposition and said they are misleading farmers. PM Modi was addressing BJP workers on Deendayal Upadhyaya's birth anniversary. “BJP workers should explain new farm bills to farmers in simple language. Opposition is trying to mislead farmers on new farm bills. It is the duty of every BJP worker to bust the lies regarding farm bills,” he said. Nationwide protests are being held by farmers against the new farm bills. Opposition has claimed that the bills will harm the interest of farmers and benefit corporates. The Centre has, however, said that the proposed laws will be beneficial for farmers and help increase their income.
