Politicos pray for flood-affected Keralites on Eid

On the occasion of Eid-Al-Adha, today, political leaders are praying for Kerala flood victims and have urged people to offer help to them. Former vice-president Hamid Ansari, Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad offered prayers at Parliament street Mosque, while Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi offered Namaz at Kashmiri Gate's Shia Jama Masjid. Azad said, “This is the Eid of sacrifice. Sacrifice we should do for nation, for people. There is a need to decrease the distance created among people in the nation. The situation of Kerala floods is a big natural calamity of the century. Muslim priests throughout the nation have prayed for the flood-affected people in Kerala. They have urged people to help the victims.”
